Newport Beach residential real estate sales jumped 73% from February to March 2019. In February, only 40 homes were sold in Newport Beach, compared with the 69 homes sold in March.
Of the 69 Newport Beach homes sold in March 2019, most of these were in the $1-$2MM price range.
In March 2019, 16 Newport Beach homes sold in the $1-$1.5MM range and 15 homes sold in the $1.5-$2MM range.
Newport Beach real estate was an Extreme Seller’s Market in March with an inventory of 1.04 months.
Interestingly, although sales skyrocketed from February to March, year-to-date sales in Newport Beach (January-March) are nevertheless down 13% from 2018.
There is still a lot of year left, and it is still quite possible that 2019 on a whole will show more sales in Newport Beach than in 2018.
